It helps me a lot. Because of fresh lavender smell, I can manage to forget that I am not in the forest near Camelot but in my own bedroom, or bathroom. I normally use my secret heavy weapon: lavender essential oil in my lovely diffuser, a lavender scented 100% vegan candle, dry lavender hanging from the curtain rods, and lavender Fresh Skin essential oil on my duvet. Yes, a lot of lavender. And this is not the end.. I have a lavender bubble bath and a lavender bath oil from NYR (ok, this one ‘just’ contains lavender). Wait, I also have a lavender tea (Pukka Night). Ok, I’m turning purple already.

 

Of course, you don’t need to use lavender only, and the fact I’m obsessed with it, it doesn’t mean everyone has to be. Another great soothing oil is eucalyptus oil, that helps to purify your interior and helps you with early spring nasal infections.

But what aromatherapy actually is?

To save you googling, I found some facts about it for you to read:

‘Essential oils have been used for therapeutic purposes for nearly 6,000 years. The ancient Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans used them in cosmetics, perfumes, and drugs. Essential oils were also commonly used for spiritual, therapeutic, hygienic, and ritualistic purposes.

More recently, René-Maurice Gattefossé, a French chemist, discovered the healing properties of lavender oil when he applied it to a burn on his hand caused by an explosion in his laboratory. He then started to analyse the chemical properties of essential oils and how they were used to treat burns, skin infections, gangrene, and wounds in soldiers during World War I. In 1928, Gattefossé founded the science of aromatherapy. By the 1950s massage therapists, beauticians, nurses, physiotherapists, doctors, and other health care providers began using aromatherapy.

Aromatherapy did not become popular in the United States until the 1980s. Today, many lotions, candles, and beauty products are sold as “aromatherapy.” However, many of these products contain synthetic fragrances that do not have the same properties as essential oils.’

Why lavender is good for? As everyone probably knows, lavender helps with sleeping, but healing insomnia is not its only benefit. Lavender bath can relax your muscles after a hard cardio or heavy gym session, it can also be a relief after a stressful day at work or school. What else? Caught a cold? Feeling tired? Try lavender essential oil in a diffuser or vaporiser, I’m telling you, you’ll feel better!

Time for eucalyptus. It is known for centuries for its wound healing qualities. It is highly antiseptic oil and helps wounds to heal quicker and prevent microbial infections to develop. As I mentioned before is also excellent in respiratory system problems like asthma, blocked nose, etc.

Peppermint is antiseptic and antimicrobial, but also very calming. I think it’s great to blend lavender (lol) with the peppermint, such a great smell!

TinyTea Final Review

Yeah, finally!

14 days into trying TinyTea, and have noticed many changes, most of which are positive, here are a few of them. I will do it in points so it will be much clearer.

Skin:

•Skin breakout after one week. But luckily and surprisingly everything was sorted after three days.
•My skin is very clear now, also blackheads have disappeared.
•Skin is a bit dry because of the dehydration. So if you drink TinyTea remember to drinking a lot of water.

Body:

•My belly is actually flat. Obviously the tea didn’t burn my fat but I am not as bloated. •Cellulite is not that visible! Seriously. 
•I feel I have much more energy and I am happier!
•I don’t need tons of sweets anymore.

Overall, TinyTea by YourTea helped me with the cleansing my body and the horrible cellulite. I didn’t experience any side effects or dizziness. I would recommend that tea for tea lovers and for people who want to change their lifestyle into the healthiest one. It is a good start: to clean your body and start from the beginning with a green lifestyle!

I am also very keen to try different brand of TeaTox, I will wait a month and probably you will see another review.
