Simple things you need to know before going to Crete.

Hello!

If you have been following my Instagram, it might have told you a little bit about my trip to Crete. Of course, nothing of it wouldn’t be complete without a whole post and me sharing, even more, photos! I must admit, the trip was absolutely amazing. We spent six days there and certainly that was not static. Drove about 350 miles and walked around 50 miles. Car rentals are extremely cheap, we got a deal for four days and paid only 120 euros! Dealing with locals was also very easy and pleasant – Crete seems to be a place without any red tape, so paperwork was cut down to the minimum. Loved it.

If you want to book it I can recommend OnTheBeach . Everything went smooth and without hidden costs or other surprises.
Oh, and one more thing. Be prepared for Cicadas! Lots of them. Everywhere.

I found some time to read and I really recommend this book! -> A Little History of the World.
